Yes!!! My favorite readathon is coming up again, and I’m so ready.
(Okay, no, I’m not. I’m in a reading slump. BUT. I’m getting pumped, so it’s close enough. I mean, that’s good, right? Getting pumped about reading? It’ll make me want to read. I hope.)
I’m hoping I’ll even have enough time to take part in all of the challenges, like I used to in the good ol’ days. For now, have the blurb:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 8th and runs through Sunday, May 14th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 19 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team
And thus marks this as my official sign-up post. But! That’s not all!
I’m also going to throw in my TBR so I don’t have to do it later, because I will forget.
(I swear my memory just gets worse and worse as I age, even though I’m barely 25. I blame book details taking up all my memory space!)
Confess by Colleen Hoover – 306 pages
The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer – 178 pages
Shut Out by Kody Keplinger – 273 pages
Small Persons with Wings by Ellen Booraem – 304 pages
The Passenger by F. R. Tallis – 273 pages
The Game of Love and Death by Martha Brokenbrough – 352 pages
If I Stay by Gayle Forman – 261 pages
Total – 1,947 pages
Gettin’ a little ambitious with this, I’ll admit, but I really need to read these books, so I might as well try. If anything, I at least want to read 1,500 pages in total.
That’s all for this post. Thanks for reading!
